🚨New Coach Alert🚨

Coach Darlene has officially hit the schedule and we are PUMPED to have her as the newest addition to our coaching team. Let’s show her some Mira Mesa love and welcome her to the fam! If you haven’t had the opportunity to meet Darlene yet, here’s the skinny -

1. Where are you from?
I was born and raised in San Diego, so this city will always be home to me. I moved away for a bit, but I came back in 2022. Can’t beat good weather and being close to family.

2. What got you into coaching?
I fell in love with the feeling of helping people realize they’re capable of more than they think. I went to culinary school originally, but fitness became my true passion. Coaching gave me purpose — seeing someone get stronger, move better, and build confidence is what hooked me, and it’s what’s kept me in this industry this long.

3. What’s your favorite food spot in SD, and what are you ordering?
Rombom Burgers. Their traditional smash burger is the best burger I’ve ever had.

4. What are you typically doing when not in the gym?
You’ll usually find me running, spending time with family, or trying new coffee shops with my fiance and our frenchie Peach! I’m big on balance, so it’s a mix of movement, good food, and quality time with the people I care about.

5. Favorite vacation spot of all time?
Florence, Italy

6. Hit us with a fun fact.
I can karaoke in Italian, but cannot speak it.
