Game Changer Sportfishing

How do you top an already successful trip? How about landing this amazing 333lb kite fish!!! Congrats to Dan and the crew who helped him get this beauty in!
Such a thrill!

We did manage to get one night time tuna at the end of day one, weighing about 110. Way to go Roger!!
Yesterday there were a LOT of tuna. Not all schools wanted to bite. The day was consistent. The boys hooked 10 kite fish and 5 landed on the deck. They ranged from 110 to 180.
Today we are back on the hunt. Started out early trying for YT at the island but no current had us feeding the large Mackerel instead of the YT. Back out now for tuna.

Great end to our first day. We ended up with 11 total fish. Four tuna on the kite, from 110-207, 4 troll BF, 2 troll Yellowfin and I hooked this beautiful Yellowfin on a sinker. Dan reeled it in and landed it. 50lb YF and the first on the GC this season!
Great day. Boys are all night fishing now.

Slow morning but fish scattered everywhere. We have landed two 30lbers on the troll and Mark just fought and landed our first kite fish at about 110 lbs!
Lots of daylight left.

We left yesterday on a 2.5 day with our GC friends, Roger and company. Included in the group is Captain Kayden’s uncles Gabe and Mo.
it’s only fitting that Mo would celebrate his 50th bday by catching the first fish of the day. Off the troll he reeled in this 30lb tuna.
We are on the board and currently looking for kite fish!

Congrats to Captain Kayden, crew and anglers, on an exciting and action packed day.
Day one finished when our group of 4 threw up the white flag and called “uncle”, after catching 3 trolling fish and another 11 kite fish, all over 100 lbs and two at 200 and 220!
Do you think Kayden was determined to NOT have to night fish?! lol

And the fun continues! The GC left yesterday on a 2.5 day with Captain Kayden now at the helm. No pressure Kayden!
Welcome to our newest GC friends, Tyler and 3 of his buddies. This group of 4 has already had a great day.
Kayden worked his kite magic and this group has landed 5 kite fish! The smallest at 120, three around 150 and another big one at 207lbs!

Just when they thought the first night was good….
How about night number 2 with 27 more BFT until the wee hours of the AM! Not to mention this gorgeous 200lb kite fish. A new personal best for Mike! This would wrap up trip limits and crew fish as well.

After 2 nights of no sleep, Ryan said he is running on pure adrenaline from such a great trip!

Fishing is definitely picking up! The boys are on the last day of a 3.5 day with our good friend Fritz and company.
Day one would produce two beautiful BFT on the troll at 90 and 140lbs.
That night would be the windfall. With the crew up until 2 am, and the fish finder lit up with a huge school of fish that wanted to eat! 13 total fish, two at 30lbs with the other 11 fish at 80-150lbs.

The Boys returned yesterday from a 2 day trip. On the way out they stopped on a kelp and landed this gorgeous 25-30lb Yellow tail. They picked up another 5 layer in the trip.
They also had several kite fish hooked and landed 2 nice ones at 90 and 140lbs.
