The PDW Titanium Wrist Compass was first introduced in 2015 in one case finish, a fine matte finish. Since then with the Gen 2, we now offer 3 case finishes; Polished, Fine Matte, and Black to best match the finish on your watch case. From polished-satin cases from GSAR, the FXD, to the Rolex Submariner. The fine matte finish to match watch cases from brands like Paradive to the U1. Happy Friday and Show-and-Tell. PDW’s Patrick Ma takes a quick dive into button compasses from his own personal collection and how they inspired some of his product designs over the years. The magnetic compass was invented during the Han Dynasty around the 2nd century BCE or 2st century CE. A transformative invention allowed humans and civilizations to navigate and travel the known world, and explore the known.
