As our new Head Coach Lynne Franks-Meinert reminds us, it is amazing what we can achieve when we are ALL IN.

Against the Wind (ATW) improved its time by 8 seconds compared to 2025.

PFP/Red (NEW 2026) - 5th fastest in the Semis & while we missed the podium this time, their strong showing was evident - (see next post-video highlights); PFP/Orange (NEW 2026) brought home a bronze for PFP in the B Major category.

As of 2026, PFP still holds the record for consecutive wins at IDBR in any division - 8 straight (2012-2019) - thanks Bob Mina for reminding us about this important piece of Philly Dragonboat history!) With Lynne at the helm coaching, mentoring, pushing us forward along with tech coach Tommy Leonardi, PFP’s future is bright! We are beyond grateful and excited for all that’s next.

Huge thanks to our coaches and team captains as well as our friends at Philadelphia Dragon Boat Association for another great Independence Dragon Boat Regatta! We had a blast, worked hard, deepened our connections with each other & our many friends on other teams. Till next year IDBR! Next up, Paddle for Pink, then Cooper!
