Has the weather turned? We are experiencing cooler air temperatures. And, we did have a few dry days this past week, enough to where we could get mowers on the golf courses and spray/treat weeds. The break in the rain allowed us to start and finish the hydroseed project on the Lakes Golf Course and to address the soft/wet conditions on the Driving Range tee top. We hydroseeded (sprayed) over 300,000 square feet on the Lakes Golf Course (seed mixed with a binding agent to hold the seed in place) and aerified/topdressed the Driving Range tee top.

Did somebody say it’s ½ way to St. Patrick’s Day?! ☘️💚

We definitely know how to celebrate around here at Palm Aire Country Club! 🍀 And if you missed Wacky Wednesday last night… there was no winner! That means the pot rolls over! Who’s feeling lucky next week? 🍀

We have a new Staff member. The Job Description calls for 24/7 coverage focused on the Champions Golf Course hole #13 putting surface and surrounds. The objective is to keep the Sandhill Cranes from destroying the putting surface. A little trickery may make the difference. Will they then find other locations (hopefully off the golf course property!)? We will see.

ANOTHER HOLE-IN-ONE! AND THIS ONE IS INCREDIBLE!

Congratulations to Bob Glass, who just recorded his SECOND hole-in-one today!

Yes, you read that correctly - TWO HOLE-IN-ONES IN ONE DAY!
Talk about a day to remember!

The odds of making two holes-in-one in a single day are estimated to be in the millions, making this an incredible and extremely rare golf achievement.

And incredibly, Jay Silverman and Louis Gallucci were there to witness the triumph - AGAIN!

Bob Glass, you're officially having a day most golfers can only dream about. Congratulations on an unbelievable feat!

Hole in one… for two?! Talk about a round to remember! Congratulations to James Pfrogner on making a hole-in-one on Champions #12 from 137 yards using his 5-hybrid!

And then, right behind him in the same group, Dave Nebraski followed it up with a hole-in-one of his own on Champions #12 from 144 yards using a 7-iron! Witnessing this incredible double dose of aces were Robert Mikuliack and Mike LaBue.

Talk about being in the right group at the right time! Congratulations, gentlemen! Two aces. One group. What a round!
