There is a waitlist to join the Desert Mountain Club 😩

I just toured two communities by Camelot Homes at Seven Desert Mountain in Scottsdale, and the detail most people miss is this: buy at The Villas II or The Retreat, and you skip the waitlist for full club membership entirely (application and approval still required).

Here's what I walked through:

The Villas II. Just 23 single-family homesites, every one backing to the par-54 championship course. Two award-winning floor plans by architect Robert Hidey, and Camelot lets you customize from there. True lock and leave.

The Retreat. Luxury condominiums from 2,400 to 2,700 square feet right on the fairways. Walk in, set down your bags, start living.

Both are built for the buyer who wants the Desert Mountain lifestyle without the maintenance that usually comes with it. Spa, tennis, 20 miles of private trails, six Jack Nicklaus signature courses, 10 restaurants.

Relocating to Arizona and looking for someone who actually gets it? This one's for you.

My clients moved from Pittsburgh, spent time renting, learned the valley, and when they were ready, they knew exactly what they wanted. Sunset views. A home office. Room for family to stay a while.

They got every single thing on that list, and at $233,000 below ask.

Another Accelerent Breakfast in the books. Always a great morning mixing and mingling with some of the best business professionals in Greater Phoenix.

I was especially excited to hear Patrick Houlahan, a true TOP GUN graduate, speak on leadership and high performance. He did not disappoint!

What stood out most to me was his emphasis on debriefing.

I've wondered more than once if I'm *too* committed to debriefs. 😅 I ask my team to pause after projects, events, and meetings to talk about what worked, what didn't, and what we learned. Sometimes I worry they think it's too much, unnecessary, or even a little silly.

Patrick's message affirmed that debriefing is actually one of the fastest ways to improve. And hey... if world-class fighter pilots are committed to it, then I am too.

A few weeks ago I received the Mentor Award at the Compass Culture Awards, and our broker Michele presented it with a poem she wrote and somehow captured the through line of my entire career without me ever telling her what that was.
