UPDATE:

Following our debut at the Eagle Nationals, we are taking the weekend off as we figure out what the rest of our season will like.. if there is any.

We raced more this year than we have in any of our previous 4 seasons.

We ran against better competition, bigger fields, and got more laps than we have before.

A lot of good came from this, but it has also been both expensive and taxing.

While I would love to run 4-5 more shows this season.. With my move to Sioux Falls coming up and the lack of funding currently present - it looks like that may not happen.

We are a true family owned team, it is me and my father. And soon it will just be me.

While I greatly appreciate the support of my sponsors, this is an expensive sport.. and eventually personal funds are not enough.

We have run into that wall at this point in our season!

A video will be filmed today covering our Eagle nationals trip that will be released this week.

We unloaded with awesome speed. This gives me some good confidence for the rest of the weekend.

Heat:
7 -> 5

Car was really good. I believe we were a 3rd place car but got my nose air chopped in one corner and fell back to 5th.

C1:
4th -> 11th

I was told that the track would be reworked prior to the C. So I worked hard to get the car changed.

The rework never happened. And the car was not set up for that track at all. (Maybe we need to read the schedule better as a team!)

Disappointing because I had the car set up for that track… but I went with the flow of “they’re going to rework it.”

RESULTS:

The 2026 Season at Huset's Speedway has come to an end!

Cars: 27
Pill: 68/75

Hot Laps: 10th Quick

Heat: 9th -> 7th

Car was decent for the heat, tried hard to pick up one more spot. With passing points that would’ve put us right into the A. With one lane, we just couldn’t make it work.

B-Main: 2nd -> 4th

Car was not great here, missed it but was able to hold the spot for the transfer.

A-Main: 20th -> 18th (DNF)

After realizing I wasn’t going anywhere, I just decided to pull it in.

One of our main goals this year was to make every Huset’s race.. and we did accomplish that! We made more features, turned substantially faster laps, and made ground at a track that has arguably the hardest field in America.

I moved here to race against the best. That’s what I’ve done!

I-90 Speedway results:

Hot Laps: 5th quick

Heat: 5th - 4th

Had a substantially faster car than the results show, the line just wasn’t there for me to get through. But with the invert we were set up nicely!

Feature:

9th -> 11th

Again the results just don’t show what we had tonight. Sadly we are more having to save equipment from people driving me down into the inside wall, dive bombing restarts (passing 4 cars before the flag stand can’t be legal.. and if it is I will now be doing it).

I don’t want to have to lift, but the situations I’m put in are either

A. Lift and keep racing

Or B: destroy both of us and anyone behind us.

Genuinely don’t know how to fix that issue besides just destroying a few cars. Eventually people will stop doing it to me.

Another top 10 or better being simply taken away by not wanting to wreck s**t.

But, we are on to tomorrow night.
