Sisters Rodeo

A whole group of kiddos in their JJ best got to hang out with our directors, Queen Naomi & rodeo clown JJ Harrison at school today!

It's such a joy to share the specialness that is the Sisters Rodeo with the next generation of community members that may be volunteers, members, directors, our rodeo queen, and maybe even one of our arena acts like the rodeo clown someday!

Is Friday Night Queen Naomi night??? You bet it is!

We are so excited to celebrate Queen Naomi's birthday and graduation, all with the 86th Anniversary of the Sisters Rodeo this week! We've kept her busy with media interviews, public appearances, school visits, presentations, and so many other countless tasks that many don't see outside of the arena walls.

Not only has Naomi graduated THIS week from Oregon State University (Go Beavs!) with her Bachelor of Science in Biology, with an emphasis in pre-veterinary and a minor in chemistry, but she has also skipped her own college graduation to support rodeo.

It's hard to put into words, and trust us - there will be more - the complete effort that she has put in behind the scenes! From the nearly TWO HOURS she has spent chatting with all of you after each rodeo performance to her time in town meeting community members and supporting local businesses, she is everything and more that you could ask for in a rodeo ambassador!

Hope to see you all at the rodeo tonight to celebrate her big day!
