🎾 Tennis Play Day 🎾

Join us as we celebrate the end of six successful weeks of Tennis Camp! As our young players head back to school, we're inviting the entire community to come out and enjoy a fun day of tennis. No registration required.

Adults can enjoy red ball beginner instruction, match play, and a friendly small tournament. Whether you're new to tennis or ready to play, grab a racket and join us. Everyone is welcome!

Leeper Park Tennis Center Update

Due to a tennis tournament this weekend, Open Play will not be available on Friday, July 11, and Saturday, July 12.

We appreciate your understanding and look forward to welcoming everyone back to the courts during our regular schedule next week

Reminder: There are no tennis camps this week.

Leeper will be open June 29–July 3 from 4:00–8:00 PM.

We will be closed July 4 and July 5.

The Ray Comer Pickleball Classic is a celebration of sport, spirit, and legacy—both on and off the court! Join us at the Boehm Park Courts in South Bend, IN, on Saturday, July 25, 2026, as we honor Ray Comer, the “founding father” of pickleball in Michiana. Ray’s passion helped build a vibrant pickleball community, and now it’s our turn to play in his memory.

New this year: “Dink Your Way to the Top!”
Players compete in a series of fast-paced round-robin matches, moving up or down courts based on results. The more you win, the higher you climb. The top court after the final round earns bragging rights and prizes while everyone enjoys a fun, social day celebrating pickleball and the legacy of Ray Comer.

Starting June 28, Leeper Tennis Center will be open on Sundays from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM. Leeper Tennis Center will be closed July 4th and 5th.

Monday – Friday: 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturday: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday: Closed

Summer Schedule (June 8 – July 23, 2026)
Monday – Thursday: Tennis camps begin daily at 9:00 AM
Fridays: Open Play available from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM
Saturdays: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sundays: Closed

During the summer schedule (June 8 – July 23, 2026), six courts will be available for open play Monday–Thursday beginning at 9:00 AM, unless reserved for a special event. Open play is first-come, first-served. Please note that some weeks may have court reservations that limit availability; refer to the schedule link below for the most up-to-date court availability and reserved dates.

Congratulations to Hannah Houghton and the New Prairie High School Girls Tennis Team on capturing the program’s first sectional championship in school history!

In addition to her success as assistant coach, Hannah will also serve as Tennis Coordinator for the upcoming Leeper Park Youth Tennis Camps this season.
