⛈️ Due to flooding on the greenways and out of respect for the Lone Pine field, today’s (6/8) Try-It-Out event has been canceled.

Upcoming FREE pre-season events:

🚲 June 17, 6:00 PM — GRiT (Girls Riding Together) at McDaniel Park

🚲 June 25, 6:00 PM — Try-It-Out at Miller Park, Fellows Lake

SYCC took on Omba Caramba today! The rain made for slick roots, wet rocks, and plenty of extra challenge, but these riders (and more) showed up. Proud of how everyone handled the conditions and supported each other!

🌲Join Springfield Youth Cycling Club for a FREE pre-season event on Monday, June 8 at 6:00 PM. We’ll meet at Pershing Middle School, get everyone checked in, then roll down the Greenway for an evening of skills, games, and riding with friends.

🌲 This event is open to students entering 6th–12th grade this fall, and no experience is needed. Whether you’ve been riding for years or are just curious about joining the team, we’d love to have you there.

🌲Bring your bike, helmet, water, and a friend.
🌲Parents are welcome to join us at the field.
🌲Register ahead of time or parents can scan the QR code when you arrive to sign the waiver.
🌲🚴 Need a loaner bike? Email [email protected]

🌲Come see what SYCC is all about and spend an evening with a great group of kids and coaches.

Did you know those finishing up 5th grade are welcome to join Springfield Youth Cycling Club (SYCC) for our free pre-season events and can join the team this July?! We think riding bikes with new friends sounds like a pretty great way to spend summer evenings. ☀️😎

Mountain biking isn’t about being the fastest or the most skilled rider. Everyone starts somewhere, everyone grows differently, and every rider’s journey looks a little different along the way. That’s part of what makes this team so special. 👏🏼

Humdinger Gravel

Community— one of NICA’s core values. SYCC showed up at Humdinger (Coach Ania requests a group photo before everyone leaves next year so we’ll make that happen). Join us tonight for a “try it out” at Lake Springfield - Hilltop Pavilion at 6 PM to see what our community is like!
