To our families and our community we’d like to let you know that our Meeker storage shed was broken into. Our Registrar, Cathy found the storage shed broken into on Monday night. The police were called and during their investigation, it was discovered that the other shed (belonging to the middle school) with Emergency Preparedness items (flashlights, batteries, walkie talkies, first aid items), was also broken in to. We did find our wagon stashed with our pop-up, table, most of the nets and one of our small bags filled with items that were taken from the other shed, including a pick ax and a big ax (assuming those were in the school's shed). The ax was used to pry open our door.

HUGE appreciation goes to Coach Lou Blanco who answered Cathy’s call and came over to the Meeker Middle School fields and repaired our storage shed’s door jam so our shed can be locked again. Coach Lou Blanco and our Registrar Cathy Strong were at Meeker dealing with the mess and repairs until almost 11:00 pm Monday night.

The main "identifiable" items that we’d love to have returned if anyone sees them are 3 royal blue net bags (duffel bags); Kwik goal brand (see third photo) and 2 smaller duffel bags, Adidas brand; 1 black and 1 gray.

There were also couple bags of soccer balls.

Please share this post in any community groups you are in, in case anyone finds any of our soccer equipment and doesn’t know where to return it. Thank you for your help!

For all our mighty Micro-aged players (Born August 1, 2020 - July 31, 2022) 👶 We're having a meet- and-greet on Tuesday, August 18th at 6pm at Meeker Fields 4402 Nassau Ave NE, Tacoma, WA 98422, and we want YOU to come! 🎉 It's for parents, coaches, and players. We still need some superhero parents to save the day (and the season) for our Micro players and sign up as a coach for their child's team. 🙋‍♀️

Summer might be almost over but there’s still time to make some great memories with Jumpin’ Joey’s inflatable party rentals!🎉 We are so excited they will be bringing a slide and obstacle course to Norpoint Day on October 3rd, 2026! 🎉🎉

As many of you are starting practices this week, and with the recent wildfires, we want to remind you of the Air Quality Guidelines for practices and games.

As per Washington Youth Soccer and Pierce County Soccer Association, matches are postponed or cancelled if the Air Quality Index (AQI) reached 150 or higher.

Only Use Air Now, as it is the standard tool, per Washington Youth Soccer Guidelines. Go to https://www.airnow.gov

‼️🆘 We still need players for some of our Boys Under 12 teams, Boys Under 14 teams, Girls Under 10 teams, and Girls Under 9 teams. 🆘‼️
🏃🏽‍♂️‍➡️🏃🏻‍♀️‍➡️We need coaches for: Boys U7, Boys U9, Girls U10 Anyone can become a coach that is willing to do a background check, Safesport, Concussion, and Cardiac Arrest training. Practices usually are held at Meeker Middle School, but can also be held at Browns Point Elementary, or the Curly Slide Park if desired. Home games are held at Meeker.
