Everyone listen up! We have a new employee.

She's punctual. She's highly trained. She's an expert at convincing elk to leave the parking lot.

Her name is Blue. She's a Catahoula Leopard Hound and Grand Canyon National Park's new Conservation K-9.

Using controlled barking and herding pressure, Blue helps encourage elk and desert bighorn sheep to return to their natural habitat, reducing wildlife conflicts and helping keep both visitors and wildlife safe.

A round of ah-paws for Blue. 👏🐾
