Digital signage is quickly becoming part of the broader enterprise infrastructure strategy — sitting alongside collaboration, device management, security, and workplace experience initiatives.
That’s why this collaboration between PSNI Global Alliance partners and — alongside IAdea at stands out.
It's not about simply “putting content on screens” anymore.
It’s about building signage ecosystems that IT teams can actually secure, manage, standardize, and scale across an organization without introducing another disconnected platform into the environment.
If you’re attending InfoComm and looking at the future of workplace communication, this is a conversation worth adding to your schedule.

A lot of meeting room projects don’t stay “simple” for very long.
One room becomes ten.
Huddle spaces become hybrid environments.
Basic deployments suddenly need:
* AV integrations
* room standardization
* scalability
* centralized management
* flexibility for future growth
That’s where many organizations — and integrators — hit a turning point.
Not because the technology stopped working.
Because the expectations changed.
PSNI PVP, ’s upcoming Tech Talk is focused on that transition from straightforward meeting room deployments into larger-scale ProAV environments and the operational realities that come with it.

Not every system needs a full rip-and-replace.
Not every budget allows it.
Not every organization is ready for it operationally.
The hard part is knowing where legacy infrastructure becomes a limitation instead of an asset.
PSNI PVP, AV’s upcoming session digs into the real-world side of upgrading legacy environments:
what’s worth keeping
what creates long-term headaches
how to evaluate infrastructure realistically
how to plan transitions users can actually adapt to

If you work in collaboration spaces, you already know:
USB-C simplicity is still one of the biggest promises — and frustrations — in modern AV.
One cable.
Any device.
Any room.
Any platform.
In reality?
Not always that easy.
That’s why it’s interesting to see manufacturers focusing less on “more features” and more on flexibility, interoperability, and real-world deployment challenges.
At , Lightware is showcasing solutions focused on:
→ scalable USB-C workflows
→ BYOD environments
→ AV-over-IP
→ UC platform flexibility
→ easier system management
Because the real challenge isn’t just connecting devices anymore.
It’s creating meeting experiences that work consistently for users regardless of platform, room type, or workflow.
That’s the part of collaboration technology that matters most.

Why do so many modern meeting spaces still struggle with inconsistent user experiences?
As organizations adopt BYOM environments, USB-C workflows, and hybrid collaboration standards, one of the biggest hidden challenges remains USB behavior itself — from host switching and cable limitations to signal reliability across devices and spaces.
At , will tackle these challenges head-on through two AVIXA Pro Training USB Masterclass sessions offered in both English and Spanish.
Designed for AV professionals supporting modern collaboration environments, the sessions will explore real-world USB considerations, system design best practices, and practical approaches to improving meeting room performance and reliability. Attendees can also earn CTS renewal units.

One thing we’re seeing across the AV industry right now: Customers aren’t looking for “more technology.”
They’re looking for:
better interoperability
more scalable standards
stronger collaboration experiences
smarter video workflows
simpler deployments
more consistent global support
That’s exactly why partnerships matter more than ever.
PSNI Global Alliance is proud to announce we've expanded our Preferred Vendor network with the addition of:
Global
And while these companies operate in very different parts of the industry, they all solve a piece of the same challenge:
Helping organizations deliver better experiences at scale.
From collaboration and AV distribution to accessibility, audio innovation, and live video workflows — the ecosystem around enterprise AV is evolving fast.
The biggest shift?
No single company can solve every challenge alone anymore.
The future belongs to stronger collaboration between manufacturers, integrators, and service teams working together globally.
Excited to welcome these teams into The Alliance.

We are heartbroken to share that our friend and colleague Tom Roberts passed away on Friday, May 1, 2026.
For more than 20 years, Tom led PSNI Global Alliance's Preferred Vendor Partner Program. Before that, he spent decades shaping the AV systems integration industry alongside his business partner of more than 40 years, our Executive Director, Chris Miller.
Anyone who worked with Tommy knew the same person: steady on every call, fair in every conversation, the first to pick up the phone when something went sideways, and the last to leave when there was work to be done. He showed up professionally, he showed up personally. He treated this alliance — and the people in it — like family, because to him, we were.
We are holding the entire Roberts family close, along with everyone in this industry who knew and loved Tom. If you have a memory of him you'd like to share, please leave it in the comments. We'd love to see them.
Thank you for everything Tommy. We miss you.
