The facility includes two pools—a six-lane, 25-yard pool for competitive swimming and a leisure pool for use by persons with disabilities, for physical therapy and for summer swim lessons. The center is used for district swim team practices and events and is open to the public as well. The Propstra Aquatic Center was built in 1999 thanks to a generous donation by George and Carolyn Propstra.

Propstra Pool closed today Dec. 17.
All VPS schools closed today December 17, 2025 due to widespread power outages across the district. The power company does not have an estimated restoration time, but does not expect power to be back until mid-day. Thank you for your understanding.

🍎 November food pantry schedule 🍎
We partner with Share of Vancouver and the Clark County Food Bank to host free food pantries at several schools throughout each month. These pantries are open to all VPS families, regardless of which school your child attends.
Please remember to bring your Clark County Food Bank intake card if you have one, or a list of birthdays for everyone in your household.
