Take a look at the difference in cadence and straight correct movement beginning of session and end of session. Proof in real time the tread is working to stabilize and address the bodies compensation patterns. 👏🏻👏🏻💪🏼💪🏼♥️♥️
First video is the beginning of this horses session. He is very wide in the front, "bulldogging it" if you will.
The second video shows he improved his motion, is much more under himself, and and pulling correctly in the front.

What are some clues a horse is still unsure about how to use the tread?
Take a look at this video, this is a horse that has been on the tread before coming to RRS, and this is his second session here.
Notice the crossing over in the front and that he is struggling staying in the middle of the belt.
This is happening even at a low water level.
It's our job to ask why?
Is the horse out of shape?
Are they hurting somewhere?
Is their attention elsewhere?
We ask these questions to adjust each session to what we believe is going on. The majority of the time, they are unsure and need guidance to build confidence on the tread.
Just one example of how we are watching and evaluating each horse, each session, everyday. 😃

Body work ...IYKYK.
How important is body work?

Better flexibility: Loosens tight muscles and fascia (connective tissue) to lengthen the horse's stride.

Pain relief: Relieves soreness from work, heavy training, or poor saddle fit.

Faster recovery: Sends fresh, oxygen-rich blood to muscles to clear out lactic acid after exercise.

Injury prevention: Keeps the body balanced so the horse does not over-compensate and strain joints or ligaments.
These are just some of the benefits we can see and feel in our equine athletes!
The one negative is the dirty hands. 🖐🏼😄😉
