We are less than a week out from having the privilege to train Indiana’s best law enforcement.

Gemini Tactical is proud to be presenting at the Indiana SWAT Officers Association Conference April 7–10, 2026 in Noblesville, IN

On April 9 2026, and April 10, 2026 we will be running two live-fire Ballistic Shield courses built for law enforcement who refuse to be average.

Ballistic shield work is a nuanced specialty that requires advanced foundational concepts taught by real world, experienced operators who’ve made the mistakes and done the work.

Our course pushes shield operators and teams to operate at speed, make decisions under stress, and understand the realities of close-quarters ballistic protection in today’s threat environment.

Gemini Tactical has earned its place among top-tier tactical training companies in the law enforcement special operations community by delivering relevant, experience-driven instruction that translates directly to the street.

If you are in the Indiana area and ready to elevate your shield capability, this is your opportunity.

IACP 2025: Why ballistic shields should be standard tools for patrol officers 12/12/2025

Thank you to Police1 and Lexipol for covering our Beyond the ViewPort presentation at IACP 2025 in Denver, CO.

We’re truly grateful for the opportunity to share this training with officers across the country. None of this happens without forward-thinking command staff who recognize the importance of both having ballistic shields available and giving their patrol officers the foundational training to use them effectively.

Patrol officers make more entries every day than the busiest SWAT Teams in the country and they should be trained like it.

IACP 2025: Why ballistic shields should be standard tools for patrol officers Through hard lessons learned, IACP presenters advocate for changing the culture of the dynamic ballistic shield

Huge appreciation to Jason Pack at the IACP Conference for sharing this interview of Eric Lee and I, and helping shine a light on the message behind our presentation, “Beyond the Viewport: Changing… | Constantino "Tino" Cipolla 12/07/2025

Huge appreciation to Jason Pack at the IACP Conference for sharing this interview of Eric Lee and I, and helping shine a light on the message behind our presentation, “Beyond the Viewport: Changing the Culture of the Dynamic Ballistic Shield.”

Our goal has always been to bring “The Relevant Why” driven training to patrol officers who often face threats alone in the first critical minutes. Ballistic shields shouldn’t be a specialized tool—they should be a patrol expectation.

Thank you to the international Association of chief’s of police for recognizing the importance of this culture shift and for helping share that message with leaders across the country.

A Message From Our CEO & Lead Trainer

What exactly is a Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment (TVRA)—and why does your organization need one?

In the special operations community—whether military units or law enforcement SWAT teams—we constantly evaluate our tactics, techniques, and procedures. After every training evolution and every real-world operation, we scrutinize what worked, what didn’t, and what needs to change. And at least a few times a year, that evaluation should come from an unbiased, third-party expert.

At Gemini Tactical, we’ve had the privilege of conducting comprehensive TVRAs for schools, corporations of all sizes, and religious institutions. Unfortunately, many of these calls come after a tragedy has occurred—when it’s already too late.

A proper TVRA is holistic, not a “gotcha” approach. We become a year-round resource, not a one-time checkbox. Assessments should empower your team, strengthen your systems, and give you real tools to operate safely and confidently.
A true TVRA goes far beyond infrastructure and cameras.
We assess:

• Behavioral threat assessment practices
• Intelligence-sharing processes
• Trauma-medical capability
• Policy and procedure gaps
• Daily patterns of school or workplace life
• Security culture and readiness

To name a few..

Who should be conducting your TVRA?
At Gemini, we pull from a diverse cadre: Tier-1 SWAT operators, military personnel, corporate security leaders, fire/EMS professionals, mental health specialists, and social workers. These are experts who teach from real-world experience, not theory.

Every Gemini TVRA concludes with professional development and our hands-on, groundbreaking training program, “Solving the Cube.”

Don’t wait until crisis forces your hand.
Protect your school, workplace, or place of worship now—so your people can focus on their mission knowing they have the training and systems to respond when it counts.

Our hearts are with the victims of this tragedy and with the brave officers who confronted the attacker.

Faith-based organizations and schools are too often soft targets — not because people don’t care, but because they haven’t been given every available opportunity to prepare. Training shouldn’t be a luxury; when human lives are at stake, it’s a necessity.

Our cadre is built from law-enforcement special-operations professionals and subject-matter experts who teach with realism, compassion, and the “Relevant Why” as the focus.

We’ll deliver a thorough Threat, Vulnerability, and Risk Assessment for your church, school, or organization — then give your staff, faculty, and congregation the life-saving skills and confidence to act when it matters most.

Money shouldn’t stand between you and the safety of your people. Contact us to discuss tailored training and assessment options.
