This is not a glamorous post, but it’s something you need to know.
Your neck is designed to hold your 12-15 lb head.
Looking at a computer or down at your phone = a load of about 60 lbs.
We do this for HOURS a day.
Your front neck shortens and tightens, your back neck overly lengthens and tires out, your joints take a load they aren’t built to withstand.
You could:
A) buy a new pillow
B) see a chiropractor
C) do some YouTube neck stretches
And hope it changes 🤞🤞🤞
who doesn’t love a quick fix?
Or, D) Learn to move your spine well, and often.
Your body will adapt to your repeated actions.
I like this picture because at 69 years old, she decided she had enough hunching - she wanted to feel her full 5’10” height again.
She waited decades until she got tired of shrinking, and hurting.
Now she’s 71, and seeing her stand so upright, with better posture than 20, 30, 40, 50 year olds that I know - using her arms, standing long and strong, makes us both proud.
The work works if you work it.
Let’s take a peek, friends - grab an Intro Pack, and we’ll get you moving well again 🙌
P.S. go ahead and bring your phone up in line with your eyes. It helps.
