Well, Nutsy is complaining again. He is saying he can hardly “bear” it. As you can see, he has his bear hat on as he points out that his is job is rain not ice, but I remind him that his contract says measuring precipitation and if he hadn’t chewed up the contract to make a more bedding instead of reading it he might understand. What the heck, he only measured an inch and he has only worked two days this year! It is so hard to get good help.

We will not be open tomorrow, January 6, 2025, for a snow day and the birthday of the previous owner. Happy Birthday good friend!!!

Nutsy, our trusty local weatherman, recorded this afternoon’s rain at just a little over 2”. On our way home we encountered a heavy shower that lasted 8 minutes and 14 seconds. It appeared to be a cruel joke by Mother Nature, but a half hour late she redeemed herself. I apologize from those bad things I said about her. You don’t mess with Mother Nature.
