Wi******er VA- Loveville Maryland's Jeremy Pilkerton drove to his first feature win of the season in the 20 lap Limited Late Model headliner Saturday at Wi******er Speedway. The win for Pilkerton, steering his familiar Rocket Chassis No.8, would be the second of his career at the historic Virginia oval and made him the 6th different driver to win in the class this season.
Lining up second for the start, Pilkerton blasted into the race lead on the first lap, but would have to withstand the relentless pressure from fellow Maryland pilot Jonathan Raley to secure the victory. "The track was pretty wide open from the rain and it had a nice cushion, and luckily our car was free enough to slide into the cushion really well and keep our speed up off the corners." Pilkerton remarked post race. "This is our second Limited win here and it was a very fun night." Raley held tough for his career best second place run with Codey Breeden, Brad Omps and Michael Carter rounding out the top five. Heats went to Pilkerton and Mike Franklin.
Devin Brannon continued his domination of the RUSH Late Models as he would score his 8th victory of the season in the division's 20 lap contest. Brannon's victory was almost a mirror image of the Limited feature as he took the lead on the first lap from his second starting spot and would be able to hold off 10-time Wi******er feature winner Kyle Hardy to take the checkered flag. “It’s always a good time to run with Kyle Hardy, he’s very experienced and he races me with respect and I really appreciate that.” Davin Kaiser took third with Austin Yarbrough and Scotty Nelson completing the top five. Heats went to Jacob Whitt, Hardy and Brannon.
Allen Brannon drove to his division leading 5th win of the season in the 15 lap Semi Late main. Walter Crouch, Dwayne Snyder, Brian Luttrell and Justin Holmes trailed at the finish.
Defending track champion Jason Wilkins again conquered all with his 11th win of 2026 in the 15 lap Hobby Stock feature. Randy Linaburg, Chris Sumption, 8th starting Nick Fogle and Larry Smith Jr would complete the top five.
In the 15 lap SCDRA contest Robbie Carroll would drive to his 3rd win of the season over Ricky Weaver Jr, Cody Dawson, Tyler Kline and Robert Hamilton Jr.

August 15th we want to include the kids.. most know Brent enjoyed anything we put together for the kids.. we will have an area set up as you enter for kids to pick a prize!

If any race teams want to donate shirts, stickers, hero cards, etc. you can bring them to the pit office. A special thank you to MB Sports collectables for the Wi******er Speedway donations.

I am also looking for a few individuals who will over see this part of the event and help hand out the prizes. If you are interested please reach out.
