Still out here lifting the heavy things 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

I don’t want to motivate you to do s**t.

I want to mold you into the person who JUST DOES THE THINGS.

Only a few will know the difference.

When you know that’s you and motivation is just a bunch of BS, let’s talk.

You’re scared coaching will be another thing that won’t work...

I love playing worst case scenario.

What is the absolute worst thing that can happen if you sign up for coaching and it doesn’t work?

Drumroll 🥁

* 𝘠𝘰𝘶 𝘦𝘯𝘥 𝘶𝘱 𝘦𝘹𝘢𝘤𝘵𝘭𝘺 𝘸𝘩𝘦𝘳𝘦 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘢𝘳𝘦 𝘳𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘵 𝘯𝘰𝘸 *

And if you’re telling me that the worst thing that can possibly happen to you is for you to end up WHERE YOU ARE RIGHT NOW...

Then it’s probably high time to do something about it right?

You’re already in hell.

Why

would

you

stop

in

𝘏𝘌𝘓𝘓

You’ve already done 100% of the things you know HOW TO DO and 100% of them DON’T WORK.

Maybe it’s time you try something new instead.

Now that fears out of the way...

Why don’t you shoot me a DM and we’ll figure out your next move together 🫱🏻‍🫲🏼

Throwing it back to 24 hours ago before this 100.2 degree fever took me down to remind you that 👇🏻

This page exists for just 3 reasons:

✅To help you fall in love with the gym and get strong

✅To make sure you forever live in a body you love

✅To ensure you never say no to a cookie you actually wanted

So yeah, stick around if you’d like to do any of those things.

And pray this plague leaves me soon 🤧

Newsflash: 𝙏𝙝𝙚𝙞𝙧 way is NOT the only way.

A lot of coaches out there are guilty of forgetting that most people just need to nail the basics.

Before ever crossing into what might be *optimal*

As a professional in this space, I know how utterly obsessed we get wanting all of our clients to immediately LOVE the entire process.

Yeah... that rarely happens right off the bat.

Most people come to me hating change.

Especially when it involves exercise.

It’s too easy to get lost in what’s *best* for you RIGHT NOW vs. what can optimize human health & performance.

So to clarify—what’s *best* for you is whatever form of movement GETS YOU MOVING.

Even if it’s suboptimal.

As my client, I will never tell you what you’re doing is optimal if it is, in fact, NOT.

But just because something isn’t optimal doesn’t mean it isn’t good for you.

I do my best to meet every client of mine where they’re at, rather than where l ideally want them to be.

And I encourage them to be honest with themselves about where that is.

Too often, we tend to jump into the ‘All’ of ‘all or nothing’, & do something just because everyone else is.

Or because some IG fitness ‘expert’ says to.

🚴 Does going to spin class feel less intimidating to you right now because the room is dark and you can sit in the back?

Awesome.

🏋🏼‍♀️ Does the accountability of a CrossFit community keep you from sinking into the couch after work?

Great.

You would sooner catch me dead than at CrossFit, SoulCycle, or similar high intensity group fitness class...

BUT, telling you that lifting would better align with your physique goals just because it’s optimal (and what I personally enjoy)...

Does not provide a solution to the obstacles you currently face.

When the alternative is not moving at all, you’re taking a huge step in the right direction and should celebrate that.

Small, simple habit changes are the most impactful.

Because they’re sustainable.

Don’t let anyone tell you different.

So if you’re in the middle of 75Hard right now...

You might wanna rethink that s**t.

I put something out on the internet so I guess I better damn well commit.

Update

What’s going well:
✔️Probably out lifting your boyfriend 4x/week
✔️Death by stair master 4x/week
✔️F**k around and attempt a run 1x/week

What could be better:
👎🏻Less Mac n cheese
👎🏻More fruits and veggies
👎🏻Probably more protein
👎🏻Mental state needs some work
👎🏻Focus needs some work

Current physique:
✨Strong, definitely never says no to a cheeseburger
✨Decent wings 🪽
✨Still mucho body fat to lose

We only got 12 weeks to go.

Time to put in some work 🫡

My humans are the best humans.

Hard work always pays off.

Smart work pays off faster.

That’s why you hire a good coach.

Proud of you 🫶🏻

By my 30th birthday, I will be in the best shape of my life.

There’s no question.

I’ve put in the work for over 8 years showing up consistently every single day.

Not perfect.

Not by a long shot.

But 8 years of pretty fu***ng good, yields some pretty crazy results.

I used to dream about having any kind of muscle definition in my back.

It still blows my mind today that this is what my back looks like still sitting at a higher body fat % than I typically do.

I’ve come a really long way.

And it sure as hell didn’t take 12 weeks or even 12 months.

Chances are, your goals will probably take longer than you think.

And definitely longer than you’d like.

They’ll probably change a few times too.

Maybe the standard will keep moving.

But it’s always worth it.

The greatest investment you make is always the one in yourself.

So in 4 months when I turn 30 and:

✅My cardio is the best it’s been...
✅I have the most muscle mass to date...
✅My physique is more accomplished than that girl on the left could have ever dreamed…

I’ll look back and remember it’s because of:

✨8 years of showing up in the gym…
✨2 years of formal dieting…
✨4 years of pushing food and increasing my maintenance
✨2 years of just maintaining…

I’m so happy that when I started, I didn’t focus on how long it would take.

Because I would never make it here.

I would have never even started.

Maybe there’s a lesson for you in there...

Instead I just took it one day at a time.

Now we have 8 years of proof that I’m up to any challenge.

And 30 will never look so good 😎

It’s self sabotage szn bb.

Maybe your goals are a bit too familiar this year.

Something you’ve tried to accomplish for a while.

When we tend to have a lot of built in beliefs on whether or not we’re capable of something, our subconscious might just try and prove us right…

So we naturally go into f**k it mode.

We want to go off plan. Eat something we shouldn’t. Skip the workout.

These moments are important.

They’re an opportunity to act differently.

To prove to yourself that you can trust YOU.

You have the ability the walk yourself through a moment in time that feels permanent.

You will disappoint yourself sometimes. That’s inevitable.

But once you can consistently choose a different behavior, you will build a bulletproof trust in yourself that finally says -

I CAN DO THIS.

And then, you will.
