The Samoa Basketball Federation extends its sincere gratitude to the Embassy of the People's Republic of China in Samoa for its continued love, friendship, and generous support of our young women athletes.

We are deeply grateful for the opportunity provided to support our Tamaitai as they travel to Shanghai, China, in July 2026 to participate in the FIBA Her World, Her Rules Summer Camp 2026. This unique experience will allow our athletes to develop their basketball skills, build international friendships, and gain valuable cultural experiences that will stay with them for a lifetime.

It was a pleasure to meet Mrs. Li Wenjun, the good lady of Ambassador His Excellency Fei Mingxing, and Ms. Guo Jiaying at the Chinese Embassy. We greatly appreciated their warm hospitality and encouragement for our young athletes.

Our team chaperone, Mrs. Kristen Tauiliili, is especially excited as this will be her first visit to China. She was delighted to learn from Mrs. Li Wenjun about some of the best places to visit in Shanghai and is looking forward to experiencing the rich culture and history of China alongside our Tamaitai.

We look forward to a successful and enriching learning experience for our athletes and to the continued strengthening of the friendship between Samoa and the People's Republic of China through sport, education, and cultural exchange.
