Gymnastics Samoa

As International Gymnastics Federation - FIG Member Federations gather in Bangkok, Thailand, for the World Gymnastics Congress, we are thrilled to officially welcome Gymnastics Samoa and Vanuatu Gymnastics as our newest affiliated members.

Both federations were unanimously voted in by the Executive Board and Member Federations after successfully fulfilling all international compliance requirements.

This marks an exciting new chapter for gymnastics in Samoa and Vanuatu, and another important step in the continued growth of the sport across Oceania.

OGU President Kitty Chiller AM said:

“Seeing Samoa and Vanuatu granted Member Federation status is an incredibly proud moment. Both have worked hard to establish and grow gymnastics in their countries, and this recognition reflects the dedication of the many people who have helped make that possible.”

Congratulations to everyone in Samoa and Vanuatu who has worked towards this moment. We can’t wait to see what comes next!

Representatives from OGU’s Member Federations have come together at the World Gymnastics Congress in Bangkok, joining federations from around the world for two days of discussion, decision-making, celebration and connection.

Congress is a great opportunity for our region to share the wonderful work we are doing and be part of conversations shaping gymnastics globally.
