Hockey is the original flagship sport of Benoni Northerns, and remains a cornerstone of the club, with Senior and Junior Hockey teams.
Benoni Northerns Senior Hockey is a sub section of Benoni Northerns Sports Club. We run from March to November catering for adult hockey players from U21 up to Grand Masters.

An extremely cold weekend couldn’t stop our BN teams from giving it their all as we wrapped up the first leg of the 2026 EGHA Outdoor League season.
With seven rounds complete, we now head into the second leg, where every game and every point will count as teams battle for final positions and championship honours.

🧸❤️ BNHC Teddy Drive ❤️🧸
Over the next week, we will be collecting preloved teddies to donate to the Naleli Foundation.
The Naleli Foundation works to bring comfort, hope, and love for vulnerable children facing prolonged stays in the paediatric wards of hospitals. Through initiatives like this, they help ensure that those facing difficult circumstances know that they are not alone. Sometimes, something as simple as a teddy to cuddle can make a world of difference to a child who has to be brave.
If you have any clean, gently loved teddies at home that are no longer being used, please consider donating them.
