8 PLAYERS. 8 PROVINCIAL DEBUTS. ONE HUGE MILESTONE. 🏉

We’re incredibly proud to announce that 8 UXi Sport student-athletes were selected to represent the Griquas U21 side in the Under 21 Shield Tournament. 💙

This occasion marked a major milestone for our student-athletes.
For these eight players, it was an opportunity to earn their first provincial cap, step onto the provincial stage, and experience rugby at the next level. 🔥

We’re proud to see our student-athletes taking the opportunities their journey presents and turning their development into real-world experience.

8 players. 1 opportunity. 1st provincial cap.

This is only the beginning. 🚀

Women who Inspire 💜🏉

Behind every strong athlete is often a woman who helped shape the person they are becoming.

This Women’s Month, the Griquas Rugby Institute celebrates the mothers, grandmothers, sisters, teachers, coaches, mentors, and role models who inspire our student-athletes to keep pushing forward.

Their influence goes beyond the rugby field—teaching resilience, courage, confidence, and the value of believing in yourself.

The woman who inspired him → the man he’s becoming. 💜

To every woman who continues to inspire, challenge, support, and believe in the next generation: this month, we celebrate you. ✨🏉
