A big weekend ahead for Southern African drivers on the international endurance racing stage! 🇿🇦🏁

First up is the GT World Challenge Europe Endurance Cup season finale at Portimão, Portugal, on Saturday.

Jordan Pepper and Kelvin van der Linde will share the No. 32 Team WRT BMW, while South Africa's David Perel and Axcil Jefferies team up in the No. 45 Rinaldi Racing Ferrari.

And they're in some serious company with Max Verstappen and MotoGP legend Valentino Rossi also on the entry list, Saturday's three-hour race promises plenty of action.

Then on Sunday, it's over to Barcelona, Spain, where SA's very own Sheldon van der Linde will take on the inaugural FIA WEC 6 Hours of Barcelona in the No. 20 BMW M Hybrid V8, as the Hypercar championship battle continues.

We’re talking Golf Mk1s, BMWs, Polos, Civics, a Beetle, Mazda RX-7, Opel Tigras, spaceframe cars and plenty more, all sharing the same circuit 🤯

Congratulations to Rwanda on securing a historic 10-year agreement to bring Formula 1 back to African soil! 🇷🇼👏🏼

With the African Grand Prix set to join the calendar in the early 2030s, F1 will return to our continent for the first time since 1993, when the last African Grand Prix was held right here at Kyalami (where we're heading in November!)

As a proudly South African racing championship, we're excited to see Africa take its place on the Formula 1 stage once again 😁🙌🏽

Historic Racing South Africa is joining the SAES Season Finale, bringing iconic machinery like the Porsche IROC, BMW 3.0 CSL “Batmobile”, Chevron B19, Ford Escorts, Alfa Romeo GT Juniors, plenty of Mazda rotary power and so much more!

HRSA has been keeping historic racing alive since 1973, and these legends aren't slowing down anytime soon.

What a weekend for our South African endurance drivers! From podium celebrations to championship battles and season finales, there was plenty to cheer about across Europe! 🇿🇦

🥈 First up, a huge congratulations to our very own SAES competitor Leyton Fourie, who took the ADAC GT Masters championship fight right down to the wire! With P6 in Race 1 and a brilliant P2 in Race 2 at Hockenheim, Leyton finishes the season as championship runner-up! What a season! 👏

🥉 Jordan Pepper gave us another reason to celebrate at the Nürburgring, charging from P16 on the grid to an impressive P3 overall in the Nürburgring Endurance Series finale!

🏁 Joseph Ellerine rounded off his ADAC GT Masters weekend with P10 in Race 2! After his impressive performance at Aldo Scribante, we can't wait to welcome him back behind the wheel of the Into Africa Racing Lamborghini at our Kyalami Season Finale next month!

🇵🇹 Over in Portugal, Nick Adcock secured P5 in LMP3 at the European Le Mans Series finale! Another strong result for Nick, and we're looking forward to seeing him back on the SAES grid at Kyalami in November! 🙌

David Perel also took on the ELMS finale, battling through a challenging race to finish P12 in LMGT3. A tough weekend, but another international season under his belt!

Andrew Rackstraw brought home P7 in LMP3 Pro/Am at the Michelin Le Mans Cup finale, rounding off his season at Portimão!

And Mikaeel Pitamber was also flying the South African flag in the Michelin Le Mans Cup! An unfortunate Turn 1 incident interrupted his finale, but we're looking forward to seeing what comes next for Mikaeel! 💪

A big congratulations to all seven drivers! We're proud to see South African endurance talent competing at this level, fighting for championships and making their mark on circuits around the world 🏁

As if the SAES Season Finale at Kyalami wasn’t already big enough… 👀🔥

The Astron Energy Polo Cup is joining the grid, and they’re bringing their championship decider with them.

This is the final race of their 30th season. One last fight. One title still to be decided. And it all comes down to Kyalami 🏆

Polo Cup has been shaping South African racing talent since 1997, with names like the Van der Linde brothers, Jordan and Tasmin Pepper, Michael Stephen, Jonathan Mogotsi and many more coming through its ranks.

It’s also where Tschops Sipuka made history as South Africa’s first black racing champion.

Thirty seasons later, the racing is still as close, competitive and unforgiving as ever.

It's a big weekend for our South African drivers, with international championships heading into their season finales!

First up, a special shoutout to SAES competitor Leyton Fourie, who heads into the ADAC GT Masters finale at Hockenheim leading the championship by just FIVE points! 👀🔥 We're backing you all the way, Leyton. Bring it home! 🇿🇦

Also flying the South African flag at Hockenheim is Joseph Ellerine, who will be competing in the ADAC GT Masters finale with FK Performance Motorsport. After his impressive performance at Aldo Scribante, we can't wait to see him back behind the wheel of the Into Africa Racing Lamborghini at our Kyalami season finale next month! 🏁
