Gold medal at African Games for Victor Hogan!!

John Smit Throwing Academy would like to congratulate the following athletes with their Five Star awards (this is the highest level of awards) and Masters Female Athlete of the Year for Boland.
Jackie Smit - SA colors & Masters Female Athlete of the Year.
Victor Hogan - Five star award & SA Champion & member of Senior SA team to African & World Championships.
Joshua Acker - Best u18 Male Athlete & SA School record holder in shot put.
Chris-Mari Nel - Best u16 Female Athlete & SA
Clubs record holder in shot put. She also won the discus at this event.

The journey to School & Club SA’s started in December 2021 and resulted in SA RECORDS for Joshua Acker 20,69m (best in SA this year, 2nd World). Chris-mari Nel 16,38m.
This also led to Chris-mari winning school & Club SA Gold medals in both shot put & discus.
Josh first in schools & 2nd in Clubs (under officiating controversy). Thanks to Victor Hogan & Renaldo Frechou both Academy senior athletes for input and guidance for the younger athletes. Good luck both of you for Senior SA’s.
