🎼 On Saturday, 9 chess students from Hugenote Primary, where I coach ♟️, qualified to represent Cape Winelands Chess Union.

I am super proud of their dedication and achievements. And God's favour... 🙏

Lots of our Dragons have always made it through, with three of them in the under 9 section. Once again Gerrit Smit won gold with a perfect score! Well done! 💪

To those who didn't make it this time, don't let it define you. Your worth isn't tied to one achievement. You're created in the image of God and you're capable of achieving big things through Christ.

Special congratulations to our little Dragon, Gerrit Smit (8), who won the Boys U10 section at yesterday's Marie Delport Chess tournament.

We are extremely proud of all your efforts and personal accomplishments.
