Madibaz Golf Club

This page is about the Madibaz Golf Club. A golf club for students at the Nelson Mandela Metropolitan University in Port Elizabeth, South Africa.

The mission of the Club is to provide the University students the opportunity to participate in the sport on competitive and recreational levels. It will use every opportunity to market the University positively through presenting professional golf programs and achieving excellent results. The club also presents and is involved in outreach programs within the framework of the coordinated program of Madibaz Sport.

Johndre Ludick - a proud member of the Tournament Support Programme, supported by GolfRSA, Department of Sport, Arts and Culture and The R&A - made every opportunity count in 2025 before he graduated out of the junior ranks.
Now testing the waters at Open Amateur level, we wish Johndre all the best for the journey ahead.

Well done Altin!

⛳️ Altin van der Merwe 🇿🇦 (-21) won the 2026 FBC Zim Open by 4 shots on his first attempt in both the event and at Royal Harare Golf Club. He also sealed a maiden professional title with rounds of 67, 68, 64 and 68. Congratulations, Altin!!
