🏴‍☠️ Alkimos Pirates Senior Awards Night

A huge night of celebration for our senior squads, recognising the players who lifted the standard, inspired their teammates and showed what true Pirate spirit looks like.

Congratulations to all our award winners on an incredible season.

We applauded Lisa Cowley for embodying the Women’s Big Russ Pirate Spirit, celebrated Maddie Crane’s massive improvement and recognised Rylee Cole as Runner‑Up Best & Fairest. Beth Peacock capped off a dominant year by taking out the Women’s Best & Fairest.

In the men’s group, congratulations to Shane Lawler — a double award recipient — for his passion and growth throughout the season. Brad Smith earned Runner‑Up Best & Fairest, while our goalie Ian Todd claimed Best & Fairest and the Hammer Award for his relentless work rate and clutch performances.

We honoured the quiet but powerful contributions of Chantelle Dine with the President’s Award and celebrated Janin Witheridge as our Ballerine Buccaneer of the Year for her huge impact across the club.

The night finished with a historic milestone as we welcomed our first ever Life Members: Simon Danby, Hamish McKay, Nikita Crane, and Tamara Sanders. Congratulations on this well‑deserved honour.

A season full of pride, progress, and Pirate spirit.
