Congratulations to Harvey Coone, being chosen to represent Footscray (via Sunshine) at this weekends State Winter Championships for City West.

This post gives me great joy; I have been associated with this young man since he was 8 years old and I started teaching him how to use the tools of ignorance (catchers gear), as an 8 year old and put him on the U12 championship team, this kid has won countless championships since then and at Central Maine CC, also won the MVP for the Yankee Small College Tournament.
A huge congratulations to Zac Gorman, who has de-committed to Daytona Beach Christian University and has now committed to Point Park University, a DII in Pittsburgh!
Thank yous to Coach Brett Turenne, and Coach Thomas Eaton, I know you guys spoke about future possibilities, right on man!

Even with the midweek game tomorrow, we still have our regular weekend of baseball coming up.

Our Round 1 game has finally been rescheduled against Knox.
Our A3 team head out to Knox this Thursday to face under lights in a top of the table clash!

Results from the weekend. The wet weather stopped our juniors getting in games. But the skies cleared and our seniors had excellent days on the park all round.

The inaugural 21 and Under Women’s Championship is coming up in Melbourne from 27-30 September, with player expressions of interest now open. 🙌

Women aged 17-21 are encouraged to apply, with the age cutoff being 31 August 2026. ⚾

Trials will be hosted during July, with the final team to be selected at the end of July. 🤝
