Great work to the WolvesFC U11 MiniRoos Daredevils team! We love supporting your club 💚💛🖤
Well on the ball 👀
Our U11 MiniRoos Daredevils team were well on the ball at a recent game. Spotting a representative from one of our principal partners – Wilo – out and about on match day, the lads jumped at the opportunity to get a photo in front of the Wilo car and say thank you for their wonderful support of our community club. Wilo has been a major partner of our club in recent years, instrumental in supporting the club’s drainage system upgrades!

Jamie and Sue were fortunate enough to head to the country last week to volunteer at the Kalbar Sunflowers Festival. The festival is an annual event with 13,000 attendees which raises money for The Mater Foundation and Ipswich Hospital Foundation.
They spent their time in the Mater Devonshire Tea marquee where their donated Wilo-Jet FWJ pump supplied the water to fill the many hot water urns needed to make endless cups of tea and coffee ☕
It was wonderful that Wilo was able to be involved in such a meaningful and enjoyable event 🌻

Our team at Wilo Australia and New Zealand extends our heartfelt support to the WolvesFC
As many are aware, the city of Brisbane, where Wilo Australia and New Zealand is based, has been devastated by Tropical Cyclone Alfred over the past few days. With 400-500mm of rain falling in the last 48 hours, we are deeply saddened to see the extensive damage to the Wynnum Wolves FC. This is especially heartbreaking, as they were still recovering from the 2022 floods.
Our thoughts are with you and our team will be there to assist with the cleanup once the water recedes 💚
WAITING GAME
The Wynnum Wolves Football Club can now only play a "waiting game" until the rains stop, roads reopen, and the floodwaters around Carmichael Park begin to recede.
We would like to send a heartfelt thank you to all our wonderful members and supporters who have sent messages offering help over the last few days.
As feared, the water levels reached at the complex last night exceeded the heights of the 2022 floods, so we are dreading the worst—hoping for the best—when we are able to get full access to the grounds.
There will be little we can do until the water recedes from around the front of the complex and our temporary facilities/containers. We will certainly be putting a call out to all for assistance once it is safe and practical to tackle the huge cleanup and recovery task.
Club members: Please be assured our staff have already switched into planning mode, and we will communicate—as soon as we can—alternate arrangements for training restarts. This is a mammoth task in itself, so your patience and understanding as we work through these logistics are appreciated.
We will be communicating with all sectors of the club as we move forward and these plans are put in place.
For now, we respectfully ask that all members refrain from trying to access the club until it is safe to do so.
There is still a lot of water covering the complex, some electrical boxes did go under water, and there are, of course, multiple inherent dangers in wading through the current waters covering our fields and facilities.
Our grounds team is already in place assessing the situation, and our other staff and committee members will be joining them as soon as possible to assess and formulate a recovery plan.
For now, we want all club members to stay safe and take care of their own recovery efforts at home, as we know many have been impacted by rain, rising floodwaters, property damage, and power outages.
We will be back in contact as soon as possible with information about the club's clean-up operations and a return to training where we can put alternate venues in place.
Thank you, Wolf Pack.
Rabieh Krayem,
President WWFC

Meet Jamie Delkou, our new Business Development Manager for our Business Services- Residential sector. Despite only being in the role a few short weeks, Jamie has already travelled to several country towns, connecting with locals and successfully onboarding some new suppliers/distributors for our Jet Pumps. He has also had the pleasure of meeting many of our existing pump shop and irrigation customers.
Jamie brings many years of sales experience to the role and is known for his enthusiastic and proactive approach. When he’s not out promoting Wilo, you'll find Jamie looking for adventures with his young family in his Grenadier 4x4.
