Just the one team in action this weekend. Our Men's Reserves will play in a 3v4 semi final match at Trevor Barker Oval Sandringham on Sunday at 11:40am.

Our Unders are enjoying a week off awaiting their Grand Final on 12/13 September.

is proud once again to be hosting finals. There will be plenty of action both Saturday and Sunday at Carey Sports Complex and we encourage our community to attend and support our club in what serves as a great opportunity to showcase our club.

Visiting clubs will be well looked after with a huge volunteer workforce putting together an action plan for both days. Grab yourself a coffee from "Coffee Cart" and a waygu burger from .butcher.club and settle in for a great day at the Carey Sports Complex Bulleen 5th & 6th September.

Old Carey Football Club Announcement: Senior Men's Head Coach for 2027

Following a comprehensive and wide-ranging search process, the Old Carey Football Club is thrilled to announce the appointment of Jeremy Dickson as our Senior Men's Head Coach for the 2027 season.

While our search cast a wide net across the football landscape, it quickly became clear that the strongest candidate to lead our program was right here within our own ranks. Jeremy brings exceptional coaching and football operations experience, a proven track record of success, and deep connections across both Old Carey Football Club and Carey Grammar.

Jeremy's connection to our club runs deep:

🏆 Premiership Success
Led our Under 19s to a memorable premiership in 2018, developing many players who have since progressed through our senior program.

🎓 School & Academy Pathway
Has spent years developing young footballers through Years 7 and 8 football at Carey Grammar and has spearheaded our highly successful Panther Academy over the past two years.

🤝 Club Leadership
Served as OCFC President during the unprecedented challenges of the COVID period, demonstrating unwavering commitment to the club's stability, culture, and future.

🦁 State League Experience
Brings extensive VFL and community football experience through a range of coaching, operational and leadership roles with the Coburg Lions Football Club, including serving as General Manager, providing a unique blend of football, people, and organisational leadership expertise.

Jeremy's passion for the game, commitment to player development, and ability to build strong football programs make him the ideal leader for our senior group. We have enormous belief in the talent and potential of our current playing list, and we are confident that Jeremy's leadership will help drive the next chapter of success for our club.
