🎉 Happy 60th Birthday to Graham Salan aka Dipper 🥳

Graham started playing at Ftgcc in season 1995/96 - 31 years ago. Although he no longer plays cricket he is still heavily involved in our club.

Over the years he has been President for 11 years, Vice President for 13 & on the general committee for 2, a total of 26 years on our committee.
Graham is currently still Co-Vice President plus does our Clothing & Sponsorships 👏👏

Graham has played in & won many Premierships including 1 with his son Daniel, received Life Membership in 05/06, won many accolades, trophies & medals, met his lovely wife Dione on a ftgcc function in 1996, has 2 kids who have grown up around the club, has been on over 20 cricket trips 🙄, coached a few junior teams, served in the bar & canteen, helped organize many raffles & functions, looked after the club clothing, organized Sponsors, seen many changes around the club, been a wonderful mentor & friend to many people, sadly has seen many ftgcc greats pass away & now he really enjoys watching his son and the ftgcc boys play cricket from the new clubroom’s balcony.

Thank you Graham, for all you have done & currently doing at the FTGCC.

Happy 60th Birthday to this FTGCC legend 🍻🎈

Last night we held our first Club Night sponsored by SOM Blinds.

4 boys received their $300 QX3 vouchers for transitioning from our Junior program to full time Seniors - Taj, Ben F, Noah & Tom 👏
These boys are also in our U18s FTG team playing in the BHRDCA Under 18s Friday night comp.

As always the Kitchen was full of hard working & smiling Volunteers - thank you to Brian, Barry, Trevor, Dave, Jenny & Kim for getting the food out quickly.

Thanks to Frank Didonato from SOM Blinds for attending & speaking, he also caught up with some old mates he used to play footy with - he played in the 2016 FTGFNC Premiership.

The Junior Coaches & our Senior Captains gave updates of the first couple of games - while 2 little girls kept us entertained up on stage!

Coach Josh Henry got Tim Chaplin up on stage to show us his medals he recently won playing in a Tenpin Bowling comp - well done Tim!

Our 1st XI Captain Jake who co-owns QX3 Sports Melbourne had a pop up shop selling QX3 cricket equipment which was well received by all. Thanks Jake!

As always the Bar was busy with Lee & Juzzy doing a wonderful job serving us all - Thank you 🍻

A Big thank you to everyone who turned up & to those who helped tidy up at the end.

Oh and we had another 4/4 Senior Wins today - well done to all teams 👏
