Sam is breaking down block practice and why it's such an important part of how we coach at The Golf Institute.

Block practice is all about form. Repeating the same movement, grooving the pattern, building the muscle memory that holds up when it counts. There's no pressure on the result, no worrying about where the ball goes. Just focused, intentional repetition until the movement becomes second nature.

It's not the most glamorous part of improving at golf, but it's one of the most important and it's something our students work through constantly.

It's Open Championship week, and we couldn't let it pass without marking the occasion.

Back in 2008, stood on the first tee at Royal Birkdale for The Open Championship. Winds howling, rain gear on, one of the greatest stages in golf. Those are the kind of memories that stay with you.

So this week, we recreated it. Rain gear and all. Brad stepped up to the simulator and relived that moment... 60km winds included.
