Congratulations to each of our award winners — these awards recognise so many different qualities, from consistency and skill to improvement, teamwork, attitude and commitment. We are incredibly proud of you all.
Of course, a football season is about so much more than trophies. To every player who pulled on the green and navy this year, thank you for representing our Lions with pride. Every player has contributed to their team and to our club.
A massive thank you to our coaches and team managers who volunteer countless hours throughout the season. From training sessions and game days to messages, organisation and supporting our players — our teams simply couldn’t take the field without you.
To our parents, families and supporters, thank you for the early mornings, lifts to training, sideline cheering, volunteering and everything else you do behind the scenes.
And to our wonderful sponsors, thank you for continuing to back our club and our young players. Your support plays such an important part in what we are able to provide for our SLFC families.
This year’s presentations were made even more special as we celebrated 10 YEARS OF STRATH LIONS FC — 2016–2026. 🦁💚
Ten years of players, coaches, committees, volunteers, sponsors and families who have each played a part in building the club we have today. It was wonderful to recognise those who helped begin the SLFC journey and those who have continued to carry it forward.
And as we celebrated where we’ve come from, we also got to look ahead to an exciting new chapter for our Lions… our very first SLFC Men’s B Grade team coming in 2027! 💚⚽️
Thank you to everyone who joined us to celebrate the end of our 2026 season and our 10-year milestone.
What a season. What a decade. And we’re only getting started.
💚🦁 Once a Lion, always a Lion. 🦁💚
