I came into Chapman during the great era of Jay, B***r, Milo & Strikey escapades. Jay Whalley had taken out the A Grade Fairest & Best "John Bleach" Medal a standout player by day and trolley riding hilltop hoods hooligan by night! Where there was Jay there was the Goat Field All Rounder Jeremy "B***r" Bone there wasn't a position he couldn't play! And he was the life of every party 🥳 every Saturday post game they made weekends of memories for everyone in that time. Paul Miles was living in Australia at Strikey’s and took out the John Bleach Medal the following season! They had all the parties! The Camel Bar and Breakers escapades and no one was ever left out. And well Steven Streich, he is still around carving up the oval and hosting parties all these years later. This was his 34th season playing at Chapman Athletic Soccer Club Inc
Soccer was pumping 2009 that verandah was packed and back then you had to pay to get in! The competition was awesome 👌 and after the game everyone had a b**r and a laugh post match no matter the scorelines. Thanks for the memories lads! (And the Husband 😆).
but there’s always been a rich history of great mates taking on leadership roles and making memories along the way.
Now we’re in our Jake, Alec & Matty era! 😆
