📢 Public Holiday Notice

Please be advised that the Geraldton Aquarena will be closed on Monday, June 1 in observance of WA Day.

Normal operating hours will resume on Tuesday, June 2.

Hosted here at The Aquarena by The Geraldton Amateur Swimming Club, this annual swimming competition is just around the corner. 🏆

Join us next weekend for two days' filled with thrilling races and incredible performances. Whether you're cheering on your favorite swimmers or simply looking to enjoy the excitement, this event is for you! 🌟

Please note: There will be no access to the indoor main pool for public swimming after 10am on Saturday and before 2pm on Sunday. The Leisure pool and Hydrotherapy pool will remain open as normal. All Group Fitness classes and swimming lessons will be going ahead as normal, however please be advised that there may be limited parking due to this event.

📢Geraldton Aquarena 𝗶𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿 𝗽𝗼𝗼𝗹𝘀 𝗿𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗲𝗱

Great news! The indoor pools have just reopened with refurbishment of the mechanical ventilation system nearing completion.

The indoor changerooms will remain temporarily closed for a short period as works are still in progress however the outdoor changerooms are available for general use.

Patrons with young children are advised that the outdoor showers are cold.

The hydrotherapy changeroom (including a shower with hot water) is open for people with high support needs and their carers.

Swimming lessons and group fitness classes will resume on Monday 18 May 2026.

The outdoor pool is now closed for the off-peak season.

We thank the community for their patience during these necessary works and assure every endeavour is being made to minimise disruptions.

In observance of ANZAC Day, the Aquarena will be closed on Saturday April 25th.
We will also be open 11am - 4pm on Monday 27th of April.

Monday - Friday: 6am - 7pm

The Aquarena outdoor pool will remain open until the refurbishment of the building’s ventilation system is completed and the indoor pools reopen in May 2026.

The following aquatic facilities will be closed for the off-peak season:

📆 The Foreshore Waterpark from Tuesday 28 April 2026
