We’re excited to introduce you to one of our newest coaches at Agema, Justin. Or, if we’re going off the information in Fitbox, some of you may know him as Little Johnny Boi.
Justin has been part of the Agema community since 2023 and stepped into coaching at the start of this year.
He’s one of those coaches you can always have a laugh with, but fair warning, Justin is pretty quick with a comeback, so make sure you’re ready for one if you decide to give him a bit of cheek.
His favourite movements are bench press and shoulder press, while wall walks are definitely at the bottom of the list.
Outside of the gym, you’ll usually find Justin watching football ⚽️ which probably won’t surprise you after hearing his fun fact.
Justin has been lucky enough to attend two FIFA World Cups, Brazil in 2014 and Russia in 2018. Not a bad couple of trips to tick off the list.

Meet Christian, one of our coaches at Agema.
Christian has been training at Agema for 6 years and coaching for 4. He’s also the man behind all of our programming. Not only does he write the program, he puts together a weekly summary for our coaches so everyone is coaching with the same intention and knows exactly what we’re trying to achieve each week.
If we have a competition coming up, you can guarantee Christian has tested the workouts, helped us tweak them and probably suffered through a few versions before you ever see them.
His favourite movement is the squat sn**ch, while the SkiErg is definitely at the bottom of the list.
Outside of the gym, you’ll usually find Christian walking the dog.
And his random fact, he’s managed to collect stitches in his knee, hand and chin. Apparently keeping himself in one piece isn’t his strong suit.

We’ve shown you our community, now it’s time to show you some results.
At Agema, community will always be at the heart of what we do, but results matter too. Seeing our members get fitter, stronger and improve over time is something worth celebrating.
So for the first time, we’re going to start sharing some of that progress.
First up, Annie:
50-40-30-20-10
Double unders + sit ups
Some massive time improvements and a great example of the work being put in week after week.

A little recap of the boys taking on The Freeze.

Meet Adeline Richardson, one of our coaches at Agema.
Addy started training at Agema when she was just 14 and, now at 22, has officially spent 8 years as part of the Agema crew. She’s also been coaching for the past 4 years.
Along with coaching, Addy is behind Agema’s social media and helps run the Gauntlet Series and our community events, so you’ll often find her organising something around the gym.
Her favourite movements are squat sn**ches and handstand push-ups, while running is easily at the bottom of the list… although she is trying to get better at it. Somewhat trying.
Outside of the gym, she loves socialising with friends and travelling, but is just as happy staying home and doing absolutely nothing.
And a random fact about Addy, she is absolutely terrified of emus and cows. So if you ever see her running, there’s probably one of the two behind her.

Meet Robert Knee, better known around Agema as Knobby.
Knobby has been training at Agema for 7 years and coaching for 3 year and is the kind of coach you can’t hide bad technique from. He’ll pull you up on everything, and we mean EVERYTHING. If there’s something that needs fixing, you can guarantee Knobby has already spotted it.
His favourite movement is muscle-ups, while double unders are definitely not getting the same love.
Outside of the gym, Knobby loves motorbikes and teaching people how to ride.
And his random fact of choice… he loves vegetarian sausage rolls.

Meet Vincent Bell, our Head Coach at Agema.
Vince has been coaching for 6 years and training at Agema for 9. He has a huge amount of knowledge when it comes to functional fitness and weightlifting, and even ran our weightlifting classes for a while.
His favourite movement is a hang power clean, while wall walks are definitely at the bottom of the list.
During rugby season, you never quite know how you’ll find Vince. It could be a black eye, a knee full of fluid or some other injury he’s picked up along the way. At this point, we think he just loves the attention.
Outside of the gym, Vince enjoys hunting and long-range shooting.
A random fact about Vince is that he still has an extra baby tooth that never fell out. And no, he’s not bald, it’s just a wig 😜

Meet Nathan Geard, owner and coach at Agema.
Nathan has been coaching for 17 years and has been at Agema for 13 of those. He’s the one who keeps us all together, but also the one we sometimes have to rein in. He’s always up for a laugh and is a big believer that training should be fun and never taken too seriously.
His favourite movement is ring muscle-ups, while running is definitely at the bottom of the list.
Outside of the gym, Nathan is into Warhammer 40K, and his random fact of choice is that the P-47 Thunderbolt had eight wing-mounted .50 calibre machine guns as its primary armament.
