An excellent win for the VFL boys today out at Windy Hill against Carlton.
There’s a freedom with which this VFL group play with, has been all year.
Edwards 5 lovely goals, Sellers intercepting everything - he’s had strong few weeks, Nguyen with a good pressure game, Ridley rebounded well, Gerry up forward with 4!!!

Training Tales: Round 13 🔵💙
Winter has officially arrived - the conditions certainly didn’t make life easy today. Skills were about as clean as you’d expect on a wet Melbourne morning.
Parish and El-Hawli did not appear.
Vigo, Unwin & Guelfi continued to build their loads with plenty of running work. Redman trained fully.
Andrew McGrath back out there after jaw surgery last week. Tough bugger– a very light session for him
Kayle Gerryn played forward today in the match play with Harry Jones and then was one of the last players out on track having shots on goal.
Will Setterfield continues to display terrific leadership amongst the Midfield group. Elijah Tsatas was also vocal and involved, showing some really encouraging leadership traits, as well as some excellent midfield craft.
Archie Perkins spent time rotating through the centre bounce work. Both Perkins and Xavier Duursma were among the standouts today, showing confidence to attack and move the ball forward through congestion rather than simply absorb pressure and retreat
Jordan Ridley also had a really solid session. He looked confident & moved well.
And as always, Nate Caddy was one of the last players out there, putting in extra work on his goalkicking after training had finished.
Great to see Jaxon Artemis out there on his official first day of his new journey 🥰

Kyle Langford - officially the last member of the leadership group standing that will run out this week against the eagles.
Trained as a back yesterday so you’d think he will replace Redders in that role and also be the one tossing the coin - time to step up Langas 💪🏻

Some nice calm vibes across training this morning, lots of voice to start.
Archie May completed training - including contact work outside of the wrestling drill.
Big cheer for Hayesy playing VFL this Sunday at Windy Hill ☺️
Fiorini walked laps and will start running in a month but is now fully pain free 🙏🏻
Clarkey aiming for a rd 14 VFL return
Ridley moved well and did most of training
Vigo, Clarke, Guelfi, Unwin & Martin did lots of 100s
Sharp in the no-contact cap but is moving freely.
No sign of Calders so he’d be in doubt you’d think at this stage.
Am running out of superlatives for Nate Caddy - an incredibly exceptional young human
