RIOT SQUAD GC IS BACK FOR TERM 4!

Looking for a fun new activity for your junior golfer?

Registrations are now open for eight Term 4 Junior Golf Clinics at Coomealla Golf Club.

Designed for juniors aged 8–16, Riot Squad GC gives new and developing golfers the opportunity to learn the game, build confidence and make new friends in a fun and supportive environment.

No previous golf experience is required.

PROGRAM DETAILS

Venue: Coomealla Golf Club
Dates: 18 October – 13 December 2026
Time: Sundays, 8:00 am – 9:00 am
Program: Eight one-hour sessions
Cost: $100
Maximum: 12 participants

Younger participants may also be considered if places are available.

Led by PGA Professional Tim Walker, with support from Community Instructors Catherine Eddie and Timothy Earl, each session will include professional coaching, skill-development activities, games and opportunities to put those new skills into practice on the course.

Registrations close at 11:59 pm on Friday, 16 October 2026.

A huge congratulations to our three Umpires of the Year, recognised for their outstanding performances, commitment and contribution throughout the 2026 season!

💚 Boundary Umpire of the Year — Zane Breewel
💛 Field Umpire of the Year — Harrison Rogers
💚 Goal Umpire of the Year — Antonio Liparota

Three different disciplines, three incredibly deserving recipients. A fantastic achievement and a fitting reward for the hard work each of them has put in across the season.

🌟 ATHLETE SPOTLIGHT | MACKENZIE 🌟

What an incredible athlete — talk about multi-talented! 👏

Mackenzie joined the Sunraysia Academy of Sport in 2026 through our Netball Program and has continued training with SAS throughout winter as part of our Individual Athlete Support Program💪

And her achievements speak for themselves! 🔥

🏐 NETBALL
Mackenzie represented Sunraysia at both the State Titles and Association Championships, with her team winning their division at the Association Championships! 🏆

Her performances also caught the eye of Netball Victoria, with Mackenzie talent identified and invited to trial for the Victorian U17 State Team in November.

Incredible for a 14-year-old! 👏

🏉 FOOTBALL
Playing locally for Wentworth, Mackenzie spent most of the season competing in the 17 & Under division, despite still being eligible for 14 & Under💫

She finished equal third in the league vote count for the 17 & Under competition — an incredible achievement considering she missed the final four to five rounds through injury.

Mackenzie then played in BOTH the Sunraysia 14 & Under and 17 & Under Grand Finals, with both Wentworth teams claiming premierships! 🏆🏆

To top it off, Mackenzie was awarded Best on Ground in the 14 & Under Grand Final! ⭐

Mackenzie also represented Sunraysia in football and competed in three trial matches in Swan Hill, where her performances earned her an invitation to trial with the Bendigo Pioneers.

While she was too young to be selected in the Pioneers squad for the V/Line Cup this season, we’re sure this won’t be the last opportunity that comes her way!

And if netball and football weren’t enough, Mackenzie is also excelling in school athletics, progressing through to the next level in:
