Emily is the kind of volunteer every club dream of. Whether she’s scoring games, helping around the stadium or stepping up on multiple committees, she gives her time & energy without hesitation.

No job is ever too big or too small! Emily is always there, always reliable & willing to help.

She’s often the first point of call in so many situations & is a constant presence around the stadium.

Her dedication & commitment make her an invaluable part of our basketball community.

🌟 REFEREE OF THE YEAR – Catherine Hutchings 🌟

Cathy does an incredible job training & grading our referees. She ran our Bullets Carnival in October exceptionally well & has proudly represented the Bullets at Junior Country Champs as both a Ref Coach and an on court referee.

She also travelled to Melbourne to Ref Coach at the State Champs continuing to grow her knowledge & support others.

Right now, Cathy is working with Jen from Basketball SA & Emily to create a referee training program designed to upskill & support our current referees.

🏀 Life Membership Announcement – Patrick O'Brien 🏀

At our recent AGM, we were proud to induct Patrick as the newest Life Member of the Murray Bridge Basketball Association, following a nomination by Simon Ovenden.

Pat has been involved with MBBA and Bullets in one way or another for decades. When his children began playing, he played a key role in establishing the Galaxy Basketball Club.

He has coached both locally & within the Junior Bullets Development Program & he has supported our association for many years as a sponsor of both MBBA and Bullets programs.

Pat is a quiet achiever who has made a huge impact on our local competition. He is approachable, passionate, knowledgeable & always willing to help—whether it’s assisting other coaches, supporting players outside of his own teams or offering guidance to committee members.

His long standing dedication & contribution to our basketball community are truly appreciated & we are thrilled to recognise his service with Life Membership.
