Winter is nearly behind us…and what better way to welcome the FIRST WEEK OF SPRING than with a night of tennis, some of the worlds best wine, and even better company! 🌸🍷

We’re bringing Wine, Taste & Social back and this time, we’re doing something extra special. 👀

🍷 We’re incredibly excited to be partnering with Langmeil Winery for our first South Australian wine collaboration!

For Coach Leonora, this one is especially close to home. Having grown up in the Barossa Valley and worked at Langmeil before her coaching career began, this event is all about bringing a little piece of home to our Cagney community. ❤️🍷

But this isn’t just any wine experience…

🌿 Langmeil is home to the Freedom 1843 Shiraz vineyard, recognised as the world’s OLDEST surviving commercial Shiraz vineyard.

To have the opportunity to taste wine made from vines with over 180 years of history is something truly special and a genuine privilege. 🍷✨

We’re incredibly excited to share a taste of the Barossa with you and give you the chance to experience something that represents such an important part of South Australian and wine history.

Cagney Tennis Academy adds West Wallsend Tennis Centre to its portfolio of tennis facilities.

Over the past couple of weeks, we have been busily getting our newest tennis centre ready for action.

Installation of much needed court signage, banners, windbreaks, colour & a proshop have all been taking shape.

It’s a beautiful old “country style” tennis centre & we love it! We can’t wait for everyone to get out & enjoy the facilities there, as much as we do.

Event Update

Due to unforeseen scheduling circumstances, the Game Club Charity Tennis Day on 31 July has been postponed.

This decision has been made to ensure we deliver the premium event experience our players, sponsors and supporters deserve.

A new date will be announced soon.

We sincerely thank everyone for their support and understanding and look forward to welcoming you to an even bigger event in the near future.

Everyone who has registered and paid to play on the day will receive a FULL refund.

🎉🎂 Happy Birthday to the one and only Derek Cagney! 🎂🎉

Somehow he’s managed to make it through another year! After 30+ years of coaching, Derek has been teaching tennis longer than some of our coaching team have even been alive! 🎾😂 He’s seen wooden racquets become graphite, watched tennis fashions come and (thankfully) go, and has somehow managed to keep his sanity while coaching all of us.

We’re incredibly grateful for everything Derek does for Cagney Tennis Academy, both on and off the court. His passion, knowledge and dedication have built something truly special, and we’re so lucky to have someone with his experience and expertise leading the way and helping shape the next generation of players and coaches.

We hope your day is filled with plenty of wine, cake, laughs, and absolutely zero phone calls about lessons, court bookings or rain cancellations! 🍷🎂📞☔
