Thinking about full-time dance training in 2027? 🤍
Nova’s Pre-Professional Program is designed for dedicated dancers ready to take the next step in their training, with a supportive environment that challenges each student to grow both technically and artistically.

With individualised guidance, performance opportunities and nationally recognised Certificate III and Diploma pathways, our students are supported as they explore what a future in dance could look like for them.
If full-time training is something you’re considering for 2027, now is the time to start the conversation.
Enquire today or apply to audition via the link in our bio. ⭐️

2nd Place at Dance of Champions! 🏆🤍

An incredible achievement for our Pre-Professional students, placing 2nd at Dance of Champions amongst some of the very best groups from across the Sydney Eisteddfod season.

To take the stage alongside such an outstanding calibre of dancers and come away with this result is something we are incredibly proud of. A beautiful reflection of the hard work, commitment and artistry these students continue to bring to their training and performances.

Congratulations dancers - what an exciting achievement! ⭐️

Making headlines! 🗞️⭐️
What an exciting week for Lewis Nicholson, with his achievements celebrated across the Hunter through a feature in the Newcastle Herald and an appearance on NBN News.
It’s incredibly special to see Lewis’ dedication, talent and years of hard work recognised beyond the studio, and to see the wider community getting behind him as he prepares for an incredible next step in his dance journey.
This week also marks Lewis’ final week in Australia before he makes the move to Germany to continue his training at the prestigious John Cranko School in Stuttgart.
From everyone at Nova City Ballet, we wish Lewis all the very best as he begins this exciting new chapter. We have loved being part of his journey and can’t wait to see all that lies ahead for him. 🤍

🎬 Inside the Studio | Miss Emma

Back in Week 3, during our RAD examination period, we followed Miss Emma as she led a warm-up with our Intermediate Foundation students. 🤍

Examination preparation is about so much more than learning the syllabus. From the moment students arrive, every warm-up is carefully planned to prepare both the body and mind for a successful class or examination.
Miss Emma’s thoughtful approach helps dancers feel confident, focused and ready to perform at their best, while reinforcing the strong technical foundations and artistry that are at the heart of the RAD syllabus.
It’s this level of care and attention to detail that ensures our students are supported every step of the way throughout their examination journey.
