HAPPY 6th BIRTHDAY TO THE GYM TODAY

Today marks the 6th year of the gym from when the doors were open back on the 20th July 2020!

We’ve created some great memories to date at the gym & want to thank everyone of you members, past and present for helping create the gym into such a great family environment.

Here’s to many more years ahead!

We’ve had 84 boxers compete over the 6 years compete for the gym, don’t forget the two old grumpy coaches we’ve had from the start

No win unfortunately for young Lokman today, but you should hold your head up high young man… a bright future ahead for you even if today wasn’t your day! You’ve progressed so far this last year under coach Carter so be proud of yourself mate!

Up next this afternoon was Big brother Hasan against a good opponent from Victoria.. Unfortunately no win for HASSY either today as his opponent took the victory.. Hold your head up high mate, first year in the youth age bracket in a very strong division this year! Hasan will be back as it’s all part of the Journey!

Massive thanks and well done must go to our head coach Carter, who got the boys ready for the nationals and put in so much of his time to have the lads ready! Enjoy a beer and a few days rest mate🥊

UPDATE FROM BRISBANE

The official draw was done yesterday, with both Hasan & Lokman drawn into quarter finals which are tomorrow! Both boys are boxing against opponents from Victoria..

Lokman is first up out of the boys in the first session of the day which starts at 9am Perth time and he is bout #9

Hasan is on in session 2 of the day which starts at 2pm Perth time and he is bout #5

Absolutely go for it tomorrow boys 🥊

Competition kicks off on Wednesday… once the official draw has been done Tuesday we will let everyone know what days the Terzi brothers are fighting 🥊 go for it boys

The Terzi brothers & Coach Carter are all set for the Under 19s Australian national titles, starting in Brisbane next week🥊

TEAM TERZI have been putting the hard yards in with Coach Carter all year and have earnt their spots on the WA state team!

We would like to thank everyone who has donated to the boys through the go fund me page that was set up for their costs to make the trip over to Brisbane, we managed to reach an amazing $4150🙏 We can’t thank you all enough for your generosity!

Competition kicks off next Wednesday 8th July.. Go for gold boys 🥇We know you both will represent your state with pride!

1 WIN FROM 2 TONIGHT

Well done to both Zain & Lil Moey tonight! Great performances from you both..

First up for us was lil Moey boxing in his first ever fight against a boy with a few fights to his name already… Moey shook off the nerves and got better each round, having a strong final round to take out a decision win 🥇 Well done young man, many more to come 🥊

Up next for us was Zain, stepping up into the intermediate class for the first time against a more experienced opponent in a great fight from start to finish.. Zain boxed out of his skin and finished the stronger of the boxers on a great fight but unfortunately went down in a close split decision loss… great performance mate and I’m sure you 2 will fight again in the future!
