For those wishing to take up benchrest target shooting full tuition will be given, progressing to the acquisition of a Catagory 'A' Fi****ms Licence. Persons applying for a licence must undergo a Fi****ms Safety Awareness Test. The cost for adults (18 years and over) is $50. No cost for minors (ages 12 to 17 years). The minimum age requirement for shooting is 12 years of age. Persons between the ages of 12 to 17 who wish to attend the range must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. All shooters using the range must wear covered footwear. (No sandals or thongs permitted).. Please note that only standard velocity ammunition can be used in the .22 rimfire class. HMR and WMR ammunition is not permitted. CLUB MEMBERSHIP

It is a condition of membership that any person wishing to join the club must be in possession of a Catagory 'A' Fi****ms Licence. Juniors between the ages of 12 to 17 must hold a Minors Permit. FI****MS SAFETY AWARENESS TESTS

A Safety Awareness Test Certificate will only be issued to a person who has completed a Fi****ms Training Course with the club. Tests can be conducted on any Friday morning and on the fourth (or fifth) Saturday of the month. Tests will not be conducted on a Tuesday or any of the first three Saturdays of the month. Anyone wishing to take these tests are advised to contact the club to make an appointment. FI****MS TRAINING

There are strict regulations regarding the handling of fi****ms by unlicenced persons. Consequently, this imposes limitations on the number of unlicenced persons allowed to shoot at any given time as training has to be conducted on a one to one basis. Although the club will endeavour to train new shooters when possible, persons wishing to take up shooting are advised that there is limited access to the range and that it is not always possible to accommodate extra people.
