UPDATE: 3x3 Basketball Cancelled Tonight

Unfortunately, due to maintenance issues and staff availability, 3x3 Basketball will not be running this evening.

The courts will still be available for students to use from 6pm–9pm. Please check in with reception staff before heading to the courts, and they can also assist with any equipment you need.

3x3 Basketball will be back and officially kicking off next Wednesday!

Thanks for understanding, and we’ll see you on the court next week!

Learn to Surf!
Our next Hobart HYPE event is here! This time we’re heading to Clifton Beach for a surf trip on Saturday 26 September!
If you’ve always wanted to give surfing a go, this is your chance. For just $20, we’ll get you to and from Clifton Beach and out in the water for a 2-hour surfing lesson with the team from CoastRider.
Your ticket includes:
2-hour surfing lesson
Surfboards & wetsuits provided
Expert instructors
Return transport from Hobart to Clifton Beach
All you need to bring is your swimmers, towel, sunscreen, hat, warm clothes and a drink bottle.
Please also bring your own lunch/food for the day.

It’s Week 4 of the University Basketball League, and our UTAS teams are off to Perth for a huge back-to-back double header!

First up, we take on UWA on Wednesday, before backing it up against Curtin University on Thursday.

Join us at Shelly Beach, Manly, for a special HYPE guided snorkelling experience in the beautiful Cabbage Tree Bay Marine Sanctuary!

🤿 Snorkel, mask and rash vest
🏊 Flotation devices
🛟 Safety briefing and in-water supervision
🐠 The chance to discover the sanctuary’s incredible marine life
Please note: This experience is for confident swimmers only. Participants must be able to swim confidently and unassisted in the ocean.

Our UTAS teams are heading to Perth this week to take on the University of Western Australia on Wednesday.

Week 3 of UBL wrapped up!

A great day of basketball and another opportunity for our teams to compete in front of a home crowd.

Next up, we’re hitting the road! Our teams head interstate next week to take on Curtin University.
