🏇 PACKAGES ARE SELLING OUT! 🏇

The bet365 Seymour Cup is just around the corner, and racegoers are locking in their spots for one of Seymour’s biggest days of the year.

The Umbrella Packages, Private Corporate Marquees and Mini Marquees are already SOLD OUT, with other hospitality options filling fast.

There are still options available, including the Hard Rated Party Marquee, Bar Landy and Winning Post Restaurant but don’t leave it too late.

What a difference a year makes! 🐎

We recently caught up with Kassie Furness’ Gold Trip x Rhythmic Queen youngster at Crossley Thoroughbreds, almost a year on from when we first shared his story.

His journey has a special Seymour Racing Club connection, having been bred from a Gold Trip service fee generously donated to the Club by Lovattsville and later on-sold to Kassie.

It was terrific to see him looking so well and continuing to develop.

Thanks to Nick and Katelyn at Crossley Thoroughbreds for having us – we’ll certainly be keeping an eye on this youngster as his journey continues!

The Victorian Athletic League (VAL) is showcasing their sport as part of the 2026 bet365 Seymour Cup, with two exhibition races down the home straight.

Established in 1895, the VAL conducts athletic carnivals known as Gifts right across the state. Each athlete is given a mark (handicap) based on their ability, giving them an equal opportunity to triumph in their chosen event. Events are conducted weekly over distances from 70m to 3200m starting in October with the season culminating each Easter with the running of the famous Stawell Gift.

There is prize money for each race and a sash for every winner. The VAL provide a wide range of race categories and distances to ensure there is something for everyone.

In a first for Victoria, The Seymour Cup will see a men's race and a women's race over the 365m distance. We hope for this to become an annual event, and thank the Victorian Athletic League for their support.
