Another loss to a top 8 team.

If you think we’ll do lots of damage in finals then you better look again. Something had to change. Losses to Freo, Lions, Hawks, Cats and Crows. Tell me another team that can win it all when losing to all the top teams.

Disappointing with some good efforts from players from Chad, Paps and Rowy.

We got better during the second quarter but there’s still plenty to improve on. Papley is lively along with Chad and Campbell. Feel like there’s plenty of improvement in the midfield and defence needed, especially in contest and transition.

Been a couple of days to let the loss settle in, and it truly has. We lost against the best team in the competition and quite convincingly after that fourth quarter.

Some worrying signs that are emerging - losses to Hawks, Cats, Lions and Dockers, all top teams. Seems that we continue to struggle in the contested part of the game, which is frustrating considering it’s been an issue for some time now.

Some players not contributing the way we want them to, but I feel most people know who they are. Yet some players trying their best to drag us over the line such as Chad and Curnow.

Hopefully something changes before finals, because I can’t handle continuous drop-offs in big games.

Disastrous effort in the fourth quarter sees us lose by 44 in the end.

Felt like I was watching a rerun of one of our grand final losses the way that the boys just dropped their heads and efforts. You’d think our mindset would be stronger at this point but just not good enough tonight.

Disappointing in so many areas, glad it’s now and not finals.

Pressure is really high in this game, and we love to make it hard for ourselves sometimes. Freo’s inaccuracy is helping us a lot but we’ve been able to transition and move down the ground really well.

Wed backing up his performance week after week. Good to see he feels comfortable down in defence, racking up 18 spoils against the Dogs last night.

Love seeing him go about it 🔴⚪️

Reliable as always from Dos 🔥

Called up after some injuries to our other forwards and he’s put forward the argument why he should be in our best 23.

Helped out in the ruck, moved forward and was able to hit the scoreboard on multiple occasions. Love what we’re seeing from him 🔴⚪️

We dominate the Dogs on a lovely Friday night 😮‍💨

Turned into a heated contest throughout the last quarter but we get it done comfortably in the end. Changed the approach and still were able to find a way through the opposition.

Dockers next week. Here we go 🔴⚪️

Half time at the SCG and we lead by 27 after a fiery half 🔴⚪️

Lots of back and forth in that second quarter but we’ve done well to respond considering last week. Mids doing well to contain some of the Dogs’ best players. Curnow with 4, Sheldrick and Errol getting plenty of it.
