Revesby Workers Bowling Club

Saturday saw another club championship final contested at Revesby Greens, with Rob Shaw & Ray Fitzpatrick taking on Rob McFarland & Amir Kiyani to decide our 2025/26 Minor Pairs champs 🏆
Shots were at a premium early on, resulting in a really tight 5-3 lead to Rob S & Ray after 8 ends 😳
The leaders grabbed a couple of multiples on the next two ends to extend their lead, and on the ensuing ends Rob M & Amir, despite bowling well, watched their bowls find holes or stop just shy of shot 😲
Rob S & Ray playing with great consistency, extended their lead to double digits, thwarting the other boys’ best efforts with a number of big “saves” when things looked dire 🫣
Rob M & Amir refused to give in, winning enough ends to give themselves a slugger’s chance with two to play 🥊
Unfortunately for them, there was no fairytale finish 🧚🏻‍♀️, and Rob Shaw & Ray Fitzpatrick claimed a well deserved title 🥇
Congratulations to all four players for bowling so well, entertaining the crowd and putting on a fine exhibition 👏🏼

🏉 Great effort today in the Grade 5 Final at St. John’s today. We didn’t get the chocolates 🏆, but the team tried hard all day and it just wasn’t to be. 👏 Congratulations to St John’s and all the best at State!
