❤️🤍 A HUGE THANK YOU TO OUR MAJOR SPONSOR – THE GRAND HOTEL WARRANDYTE! ❤️🤍

What an INCREDIBLE 2026 season it has been for the Warrandyte Football Netball Club! 🏆🏆🏆
While our on-field season may have come to an end, one thing is certain – none of our success would be possible without the extraordinary generosity and support of our wonderful sponsors.
As we kick off our series of sponsor appreciation posts, there is no better place to start than with our incredible Major Sponsor, The Grand Hotel Warrandyte! ❤️

The Grand is so much more than just our local pub. It’s everyone’s favourite gathering place, the heart of our community and a shining example of what it means to truly give back.

🩷 OCTOBER MAY BE ENDING, BUT BREAST CANCER AWARENESS NEVER SHOULD! 🩷
As Breast Cancer Awareness Month 2026 comes to an end, we want to leave you with one very important reminder…

LADIES AND GENTS — PLEASE CHECK YOUR B***S! 🩷
The statistics are a powerful reminder that breast cancer does not discriminate.
🩷 1 in 7 Australian women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in their lifetime.

🩵 1 in 556 Australian men will also be diagnosed.

Yes, MEN TOO! Breast cancer isn’t just a women’s disease.

Know your body. Know what’s normal for you. If you notice a lump, a change or something that simply doesn’t feel right, please get it checked.

Don’t put it off. Don’t think it won’t happen to you. And don’t be embarrassed to have that conversation.

Early detection can save lives. 🩷
So as we say goodbye to another October, let’s make a promise to keep the conversations going, keep reminding those we love and keep looking after ourselves.
Because breast cancer awareness isn’t just for October. It’s for every single day of the year.

🩷 CHECK YOUR B***S. CHECK YOUR MATES. CHECK YOUR LOVED ONES. 🩷

❤️🤍 MORE GREAT NEWS FOR THE BLOODS! ❤️🤍

We are incredibly proud to announce that the Warrandyte Football Club has been named a recipient of the 2026 TAC AFL Club Rewards Grant! 🏆
This is a fantastic achievement for our club and recognition of our commitment to promoting road safety, raising awareness and encouraging our players and wider community to make safer choices on our roads.

A MASSIVE shout-out to all the boys who enthusiastically jumped on board and helped create the videos for our grant application. Your willingness to get involved, have a bit of fun and deliver such important messages helped make this possible! 👏👏
We’re so proud of what we continue to achieve when everyone comes together.
A huge thank you to the TAC and AFL Victoria for supporting grassroots football clubs and helping us make a difference beyond the footy field.

Another win for the Bloods — on and off the field! ❤️🤍

A LEGEND HONOURING A LEGEND. THE GOAT! ❤️🤍

🏆 THE INAUGURAL PHIL TREEBY AWARD – TRENT FERGUSON
Some awards mean more than words can ever express. This is one of them.
This year, the Warrandyte Football Netball Club proudly introduced the Phil Treeby Award, honouring an absolute legend of our club, a wonderful man who we heartbreakingly lost this year.

Phil Treeby was one of those special people whose contribution, loyalty and love for the Bloods will never be forgotten. His legacy will forever be woven into the fabric of our great club.
And we couldn’t think of a more fitting inaugural recipient than a man who is an absolute legend in his own right.

TRENT FERGUSON. THE GOAT! 🐐❤️

Trent is the definition of what it means to be a Blood. His passion, loyalty, dedication and incredible contribution to our club are nothing short of extraordinary.
Every great football club has those rare individuals who become part of its history, its heart and its soul.
Phil Treeby was one of those men. Trent Ferguson is another.

To see Phil’s name live on through an award recognising the very best of our club is incredibly special. To have Trent as its first recipient makes it even more meaningful.
Two remarkable men. Two true Bloods. Two legends whose impact on our club is immeasurable.
Congratulations Trent! There is no one more deserving of this special honour.

THE GOAT. THE LEGEND. THE BLOOD. ❤️🤍

🤍 TWO INCREDIBLE PEOPLE. ONE VERY SPECIAL AWARD! ❤️

🏆 TRACEY “SNOWY” PRIOR MEMORIAL AWARD – BEST CLUB PERSONS
Some people are part of a football club. Others are the very heartbeat of it.
Terry and Lisa Ryan are exactly that. ❤️
It is with enormous pride and appreciation that we congratulate Terry and Lisa on being awarded the Tracey “Snowy” Prior Award – Best Club Persons.

This award recognises the people who go above and beyond, who give so generously of their time, who are always willing to lend a hand and who make our club such a special place to belong.
Terry and Lisa embody everything that makes the Warrandyte Football Netball Club so much more than just a sporting club.
Their dedication, generosity, loyalty and unwavering commitment are simply extraordinary. They are the kind of people every club dreams of having, yet could never truly thank enough.
A great football club isn’t built on premierships alone. It’s built on the shoulders of incredible people like Terry and Lisa Ryan.

From everyone at the Warrandyte Football Netball Club, thank you for everything you give, everything you do and the wonderful people you are.
Two absolute legends. Two enormous hearts. One very deserving honour.
Congratulations, Terry and Lisa! ❤️🤍👏
